Managing Clean-Room Governance & Roles
How to invite team members, assign clean-room roles, and verify that sensitive contractor commercial data remains completely firewalled.
Open Environment Settings
Navigate to Settings in the navigation sidebar (/dashboard/settings) and scroll down to the Team Access section.
Only users with the Owner, Project Director, or Claims Manager role have permission to invite or modify team member access.
Invite a New Stakeholder
Click Invite Member to open the invitation dialog:
Assign Trade Package Scoping (For Subcontractors)
If inviting a Subcontractor, enter their assigned Trade Package (e.g., Mechanical (HVAC), Structural Steel, Electrical).
This ensures the subcontractor can only view schedule activities and observations tagged to their trade package. All other project scopes remain completely invisible.
Verify Field-Level Commercial Firewalls
Clean-room protection is enforced automatically at the API layer:
- Prolongation Rate Multipliers: Internal daily overhead rates are scrubbed from external JSON responses.
- Counsel Litigation Notes: Privileged strategy remarks are replaced with a standardized legal reservation notice.
- Cross-Trade Segregation: Subcontractors cannot access other trade packages' commercial figures.
Audit and Rotate Access
Use the inline role switcher in the Team Access table to adjust permissions as personnel change. If a contractor departs or an external audit concludes, click Suspend to revoke access immediately while preserving full historical audit logs.
