The Schedule Screen
Three integrated views, three purposes. The Gantt shows schedule geometry. The Deviation View ranks where your baseline is eroding. The What-If Sandbox models prospective fragnet delay impacts before they materialize.
Gantt Chart
Float spectrum bar colours
Every bar is coloured by float remaining — not just a binary critical/non-critical flag:
The full legend is shown at the top right of the Gantt header.
Baseline bar overlay
When a baseline is selected, a thin grey bar appears directly below each forecast bar at the original baseline position. The visual gap between the two bars is the schedule slip at a glance — no numbers needed.
Risk Pressure (Ghost Bars)
Enable the Risk Pressure toggle to visualize potential delay from pending signals as a ghost bar extending from the forecast bar. Color encodes urgency tier:
If these risks materialize, the forecast bar will shift to meet the ghost bar's end. WBS nodes also aggregate potential drift, showing +Nd pot. alongside confirmed slippage.
Milestone Differentiation
Milestone activities — those with identical start and end dates — are distinguished with a diamond shape in the timeline and a ◇ icon in the sidebar label. Diamond bars feature an inner shadow for a premium look.
The Gantt legend (top-right of the chart header) includes a Milestone entry for reference.
Signal badge
When signals have been detected against an activity (but haven't yet added up to visible schedule slip), a minimal ⚡+Nd badge appears at the end of the bar. Hover the bar to see the full breakdown in the tooltip.
Rich tooltip
Hovering any bar opens an instant (no delay) structured card showing:
- Activity name with risk-tinted header
- Forecast Start / Finish dates
- Baseline Finish date (when baseline selected)
- Float / Drift / Signal delay — three colour-coded metric tiles
- Progress bar (backed by
percentComplete)
Deviation View
The Deviation View is a ranked prioritisation surface. The engine computes a composite deviation score for every activity and sorts by it automatically.
Composite Deviation Score
The Deviation column ranks activities by a composite heuristic blending four factors:
Activities scoring above 120 show CRITICAL, above 70 show HIGH, above 40 show MED.
Urgency Tiers (Act Now / Monitor / Watch)
Every risk driver is automatically categorized by its Urgency Tier, determined by its proximity to contractual milestones and its current attribution status:
Financial Exposure column
The Exposure column shows the locked financial exposure from accepted signals linked to each activity. Colour is relative to the current page — not fixed thresholds:
Impact Drivers expand row
Click any row to expand the Impact Drivers panel inline. It shows every accepted and pendingsignal that contributes to that activity's deviation:
Sorting & Filtering
Every column header is sortable. The default sort is Deviation Score (highest first)— the engine's best guess at what needs attention now.
Sorting is performed server-side across the full dataset — not just the current page. This ensures ranking by Potential Exposure or Risk Pressure score accurately reflects the worst activities across all pages.
Use the filter chips (Critical / At Risk / On Track) or the AI search bar to narrow to a subset.
What-If TIA & Fragnet Sandbox
The What-If Sandbox performs prospective Time Impact Analysis (TIA) aligned with SCL Delay and Disruption Protocol (2nd Edition, Principle 4). It allows project planners, commercial managers, and directors to model hypothetical sub-network ("fragnet") disruption events in memory against the contemporaneous CPM schedule—without corrupting active baselines or polluting formal dispute records.
Fragnet Builder & Industry Scenario Presets
The left panel provides a structured scenario builder with one-click industry templates:
Users can also define custom fragnets: specify title, SCL event category (e.g. EMPLOYER_RISK, CONTRACTOR_RISK, FORCE_MAJEURE), contemporaneous narrative, duration, and tie predecessor/successor activities using searchable comboboxes with instant activity filtering.
Executive Impact HUD
Upon running a simulation, the top HUD immediately computes four key contract metrics:
Financial exposure automatically computes based on your project's contractual daily Liquidated Damages (LD) rate in Euros (€).
Dual-Layer Gantt Overlay
The Gantt Overlay tab shows the contemporaneous baseline side-by-side with the simulated post-impact schedule. Injected fragnet activities are rendered in distinctive indigo/purple, critical paths in high-visibility crimson, and slipped forecast bars are visually offset against their contemporaneous baseline positions.
Delay Impact Ledger
The Delay Impact Ledger tab provides a granular audit table of every downstream activity pushed by the injected disruption. Filter by:
- All Pushed: Full downstream impact inventory.
- Critical Path Only: Activities driving net completion slip or with zero/negative float.
- Milestones Only: Contractual completion and handover milestones impacted.
Automated Contractual Notice Drafting
The Contractual Notice tab auto-generates a formal statutory Notice of Delay citing standard conditions of contract:
Click "Copy Notice" to immediately transfer the fully formatted notice into clipboard memory for project correspondence or email to the Engineer / Employer.
